Project Pan Update December 2015

The beginning
How I am going!

NARS Highlight in Albatross

Above: When I first started
Below: How I am going. You can't really see, but I have begun to make an indent on this. I actually use it every time I do my makeup, and I used it everyday for 3 weeks when I was doing work placement.
MAC Foundation in Studio Fix NC15

Above: When I started
Below: Where I am now. I think I've done really good with this, and now I am going to put it away until I have enough MAC things to back to mac. I can't get over how it is almost 3 years old, so I think it has to go!

Baby Skin Pore Eraser

I actually stopped doing my PP for this when I went to Japan, because it was about to run out and I didn't want it to. So I took my backup one I had, now the one that is from my first update is almost done, and the newer one is halfway done!
 Australis Primer

I am just going to get rid of this. I don't want to use this instead of other primers I have. It's more than halfway done.
Australis Fresh & Flawless Powder

Again, the image up the top, from my first post is more accurate. I haven't been using this one as much this past month, as I have been using translucent powder. And boy, does it make a big difference in the cake department!
MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Medium

I don't know why the colours came out so different, but the top image is more accurate. As you can see I've done pretty well. I was using it for work placement as it's more subtle than my other contour powders.
That translucent powder that I never found the name of.

I haven't really been using this one either since coming back from Japan, I've been using ELF's HD powder. I am actually going to throw this one out the way it is... because I am not going to use it over other things I have already that I actually want to use.
 Kate Eyebrow Powder

Now this, I am proud of. I use it daily, it's the only thing I have for my eyebrows other than brow mascara and I swear by this. It's my HG atm. I have to film a video of how I do my eyebrows, because it's SOOOO LAZY!! And takes like 3 minutes... it might not be instagram worthy but god does it save time!
Etude House Play 101 Pencil

I should've done this in the first picture, but you can see in the bottom how much is left. I'd say I haven't gotten down very far since the first picture.. as I don't really use it.

And I don't know if you noticed, but one item was missing from this list.
This Revlon pressed powder. I actually got it so far down because I only took this to Japan, but one morning as I was doing my makeup, Yuuna was watching me and I gave it to her to play with and well... she smashed all the powder and it went into the carpet.
...

So it's off the list!

I am getting rid of 4 things:

So I really need to find some new items to add to this list, but I will add them in my next update!

Thanks for reading and I'll see you next time!

Finally Free~ + Last beauty haul, I promise!!

Hi guys!!
My holidays officially start today! So when better but to update my blog. I made a haul a few months ago with my sister on the one and only beautynetkorea. If you couldn't tell by now, I really love them!

So as usual, I'm starting with the samples. I got more than this, but I spit them with my sister. So these are the ones I got. I always get so many of those damn Panda eye whitening creams!

The first thing I got was this set of Banana Sleeping Pack samples. I got a sample of it too! I got the hand cream version of this in one of my previous hauls, and I really loved the smell. I'm about to run out of my current night cream, so I thought I might as well buy this and try it out seeming it is super cheap!

Moving on to Tonymoly makeup!

I got this Eye & Lip Remover. The one I got from Etude House is starting to run low, and I thought I'd try something new. I didn't realise how small it is though! This won't last me long at all...

In one of my previous hauls, I was contemplating getting this Luminous Goddess Aurea Goddess Maker in either the moist or brightening version, and I got the brightening one. So, I decided why not through in this moisture one too, it's so cheap!

Then I got this BCDation. I thought it was interesting, watched a few reviews and decided to give it a go. It might be a bit light for me though... so I think I better save it for Winter. (It's Summer in Australia)

I got some face masks too! They are Tonymoly's I'm REAL masks, and this one is the rice one. IT actually came in a pack of 7 but I've already used one. And it was sooo moist!!! I got them to try and clear up a few of my red scars from my acne... so we'll see how that goes. I probably won't get results unless I use it everyday. But I know how good rice water is for the skin so I thought I might as well give it a go!

These are the items I got from innisfree~

In my previous haul, I got this Green Tea Mineral Mist. Well, I took it to Japan and I must have left it there, because it was not in my luggage when I came home! So I got another one!

I also got this green tea sleeping pack. I thought this would be good to help clear up my face, and it should be light enough for thick Australian Summer!

I also got this Super volcanic pore clay mask. I don't have any clay masks, and I was looking for one. This one seems like it really cleans your skin well, so I definitely wanted to try it!

I also got the NO-SEBUM Mineral Powder. (Sorry guys, looks like they don't stock this anymore!!) I wanted a translucent powder to set my makeup, and while I do not get oily, in Summer I sweat pretty bad, so I thought this might help with that a little.

Moving onto banila co.

I wanted this for days where I am coming home late and I won't take my makeup off in the shower. I haven't used it yet, but I know it's a cult favourite so I am excited to try it out!

And yes, another primer (Looks like they stopped stocking this too orz). They might be my addiction. This one is hydrating, so I thought it would be nice in Winter. I am also going down to my hometown for Christmas, and even though it's Summer it's soooo dry down there! Very different to the hot humid Summer's we have where I live now. So I might try this out then.

 Now for Etude House!

I got a refil for my BB cushion in 24 Warm Beige. I used it everyday for my work placement, and I loved how light it was while still providing some coverage. I used a concealer under my eyes, then I would put this on top and it would help to lighten the area. I didn't bother with concealer, as I work in childcare, I felt I shouldn't have too much make up on.

I also got this Acne Foam Cleanser in the hopes that it might help fix my problem.  I am having a foam cleanser craze right now too, so it fit right in!

Next is Holika Holika.

Another sleeping mask! This one is the Wine Therapy one, in white wine. It says it helps to brighten the face, so I thought it might help with my acne scars!

And I also got another foam cleanser. >w< This one is the Camellia Moisture Cleansing Foam, which is meant to be gentle and promote 'radiance'.

Lastly, this wasn't from beautynetkorea but I got it for my birthday and it arrived at the same time. It's the Laura Mercier translucent powder! I've tried it out a few times, and while the powder is really nice the package is awful! So hard to use!!

And that's it for this haul!! Like I said, I have from now until the start of February off school so I am really going to try and update a lot on my blog and my youtube. I won't make promises, because I always seem to break them.

Ideas for future videos/blog posts include:

What I bought in Japan
More Yuuna update videos
Japan trip 2015 videos
Nail and Makeup tutorials
Outfit videos
And I was thinking about making a video/blog post about raising a bilingual child... not that many of you would be interested I guess...??

Anyway, let me know what you want to see me do! Or maybe comment about what you think of any of these items I hauled, so I know if I wasted my money or not lol

If you want to see any reviews for them, let me know too!!

See you next time,

Project Pan!

Hi guys! So lately I have been meaning to make this post, and as you can see I have been working on a few of these items for a while now. Be sure to let me know in the comments if you have used any of these items, and if you liked them or not!

For those of you who don't know, Project Pan is like a little mission that you make for yourself to use up a certain number of items until they run out, or for powders, hit the pan. I think I have less make up than the average girl, because I don't like keeping things past expiry, and I know that the more I have means the less likely I will ever use anything up, but I still hate wasting make up. So here are the 10 items I have selected to work on finishing up.

1. Nars Highlight in Albatross

We all know this product is a cult classic, and while it is beautiful, I just don't find myself wanting to highlight myself very much, especially not on a daily basis. That being said, I am not wasting the $30-60 or however much it was I paid for this to in the end never use it. So, it is on my list!

2. Revlon Finishing Powder

I got this beauty in Japan, and I loved it so much I used it every day. Then, I hit pan, and because I didn't want to finish it I stopped using it. But, now knowing it is a little old.... I feel compelled to add it to the list. Because I'd rather finish a slightly older product than throw it away when there is hardly any left!

3. Mac Studio Fix Fluid in NC15

This was my first ever 'high-end' product. I loved it when I first got it, it's got such high coverage. And it would, it smells like paint and it's as thick as. Now I've broadened my horizons, I've realised how this foundation isn't actually all that great at all, at least not for me. So, I've been using it every day to school to try and use it up. My finger here is showing how much I have left to go~!

4. Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser

Oh, my, god. I actually finished one of these a few weeks ago, but my mother had given me one months and months ago because she didn't like it, and I at the time did. This is a great product, it does what it says, and I use it wherever I have a pimple, big pores and also under my eyes. But, I am sick of it. My sister went through her makeup recently and gave me ANOTHER one to use up, and I will... because although I have a few primers, I don't have any that are 'pore erasing' primers.

5. Australis Primer

I started using this once I moved back to Japan, because it was inexpensive. I went through that, and bought another. Now, I don't think it's a great product. It probably doesn't even help my foundation stay on, and I have other primers I'd rather use. So, I've put this guy on the list here to use it up once and for all.

6. Australis Fresh and Flawless Powder

I got this because it's meant to be a dupe for MAC Studio Fix Powder. I've never tried that, but I'd say this powder is really good. I actually have a back up of it in my cupboard, and I do like this powder. It does the job, but I've put it on this list to ensure I finish this one up. I use this daily, and I'm working on it more than the Revlon one.

7. MAC Mineralized Skin Finish in Medium

I got this in Japan before I moved back, and it was recommended to me by a staff member as a setting powder. It actually ended up being too dark for me, so I use it to contour my face on days where I don't want a dark contour. As you can see, I've done a fairly good job and there isn't much to go.

8. I'll edit the name of this here, but it's just a pressed powder.

I got this because I thought it was fancy, and it's nothing special. I use it to set under my eyes and anywhere where I use concealer before finishing off the rest of my face. It's taking forever to use up because of that...

9. Kate Eyebrow Pallette

I love this product. I have to show you guys how I have been using it to do my eyebrows in less than 3 minutes. It's just a great product, and I will definitely get more when I go back to Japan. But I want to use it up first.

10. Etude House Play 101 Pencil

The last product is one that I neither love nor hate. I just don't really highlight my inner eye, or my namida bukuro anymore. But I've put it on here to try and use up as much as I can to get my money's worth. I've used it a bit, but it's nowhere near running out.

And that's it! Let me know if you guys have ever done a Project Pan, and I'd be interested to read your blogs or whatever! After this, I hope to not buy as much makeup, because when you have 10 lipsticks, you'll never use up one entirely unless you only use that one... and I need to start saving money!!

See you next time,
