Project Pan!

Hi guys! So lately I have been meaning to make this post, and as you can see I have been working on a few of these items for a while now. Be sure to let me know in the comments if you have used any of these items, and if you liked them or not!

For those of you who don't know, Project Pan is like a little mission that you make for yourself to use up a certain number of items until they run out, or for powders, hit the pan. I think I have less make up than the average girl, because I don't like keeping things past expiry, and I know that the more I have means the less likely I will ever use anything up, but I still hate wasting make up. So here are the 10 items I have selected to work on finishing up.

1. Nars Highlight in Albatross

We all know this product is a cult classic, and while it is beautiful, I just don't find myself wanting to highlight myself very much, especially not on a daily basis. That being said, I am not wasting the $30-60 or however much it was I paid for this to in the end never use it. So, it is on my list!

2. Revlon Finishing Powder

I got this beauty in Japan, and I loved it so much I used it every day. Then, I hit pan, and because I didn't want to finish it I stopped using it. But, now knowing it is a little old.... I feel compelled to add it to the list. Because I'd rather finish a slightly older product than throw it away when there is hardly any left!

3. Mac Studio Fix Fluid in NC15

This was my first ever 'high-end' product. I loved it when I first got it, it's got such high coverage. And it would, it smells like paint and it's as thick as. Now I've broadened my horizons, I've realised how this foundation isn't actually all that great at all, at least not for me. So, I've been using it every day to school to try and use it up. My finger here is showing how much I have left to go~!

4. Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser

Oh, my, god. I actually finished one of these a few weeks ago, but my mother had given me one months and months ago because she didn't like it, and I at the time did. This is a great product, it does what it says, and I use it wherever I have a pimple, big pores and also under my eyes. But, I am sick of it. My sister went through her makeup recently and gave me ANOTHER one to use up, and I will... because although I have a few primers, I don't have any that are 'pore erasing' primers.

5. Australis Primer

I started using this once I moved back to Japan, because it was inexpensive. I went through that, and bought another. Now, I don't think it's a great product. It probably doesn't even help my foundation stay on, and I have other primers I'd rather use. So, I've put this guy on the list here to use it up once and for all.

6. Australis Fresh and Flawless Powder

I got this because it's meant to be a dupe for MAC Studio Fix Powder. I've never tried that, but I'd say this powder is really good. I actually have a back up of it in my cupboard, and I do like this powder. It does the job, but I've put it on this list to ensure I finish this one up. I use this daily, and I'm working on it more than the Revlon one.

7. MAC Mineralized Skin Finish in Medium

I got this in Japan before I moved back, and it was recommended to me by a staff member as a setting powder. It actually ended up being too dark for me, so I use it to contour my face on days where I don't want a dark contour. As you can see, I've done a fairly good job and there isn't much to go.

8. I'll edit the name of this here, but it's just a pressed powder.

I got this because I thought it was fancy, and it's nothing special. I use it to set under my eyes and anywhere where I use concealer before finishing off the rest of my face. It's taking forever to use up because of that...

9. Kate Eyebrow Pallette

I love this product. I have to show you guys how I have been using it to do my eyebrows in less than 3 minutes. It's just a great product, and I will definitely get more when I go back to Japan. But I want to use it up first.

10. Etude House Play 101 Pencil

The last product is one that I neither love nor hate. I just don't really highlight my inner eye, or my namida bukuro anymore. But I've put it on here to try and use up as much as I can to get my money's worth. I've used it a bit, but it's nowhere near running out.

And that's it! Let me know if you guys have ever done a Project Pan, and I'd be interested to read your blogs or whatever! After this, I hope to not buy as much makeup, because when you have 10 lipsticks, you'll never use up one entirely unless you only use that one... and I need to start saving money!!

See you next time,
ViVi

ANOTHER Haul Feat. BeautyNetKorea @w@

Hi guys! I know my last post was a haul, but as soon as those items arrived I was so happy I made another order! (And I really want to make another one, but I'll wait a while). I should've made this order with the last one as one big order, but the total was just getting so high... I wasn't thinking that I would end up saving money.. but at least the shipping is free!

So I made this order from beautynetkorea.com. Check them out, seriously! These posts are not sponsored... but I think they are really great. Fast shipping, cheap prices, large range!! What more could you ask for?

Samples from this time
Samples from last time
So I'll start with the samples again. I got more this time!!! I loved the samples I got last time, and I think in my next order I'll be grabbing some of the things like the Tonymoly Banana Hand Cream. I read some reviews on in, and apparently it isn't that hydrating... but it smelt so good and I want to use it before I go to bed so, I am going to get it anyway!

Moving onto lip products, I got this Secret Kiss Chubby Jelly Tint in Lovely Pink. I actually wanted to get the Berrisom Lip Tint Pack.. but you can only get it from Wish Trend, and I can't bring myself to make an order there, because for one tint + shipping to Australia it was something like $17... which in Australian Dollars is probably like $25-30. So, I got this instead. I'll make a video first impression maybe this Wednesday (or probably next, because I have a cold atm and don't want to wear make up or use lip products until I've gotten better). So, I'll let you know what I think of it!

Next I got this  Saemmul Lip Tint in pink. In case you couldn't tell, I go for pinks when I buy lip products ha. I wanted to get a tint I could use for work, where I wouldn't need to constantly reapply. I hope this does the job and I'll let you guys know what I think of it!

Next I got this Its skin Baby Face Petit Blusher in Pure Lavender. I got this to use to highlight my face, as I've heard lavenders are quite brightening, however this is more of a link baby pink colour. I guess it's alright, because I can replace my other baby pink blush that I've had for about 2 and a half years. I can't stand having old make up anymore, and I am thinking about doing a project pan serious so let me know if you want to see that! Also, how cute is that packaging?!?!

Next is this Tonymoly Luminous Goddess in Smooth Fit Cover Aura. I couldn't decide what one to get, and I was really tossing it up between this one and the moisture one. In the end, I decided this one added a bit more shine and glow. I'll start using it when my current primer runs out, and I will use this along the Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer sample packs. I want to do a comparison for you guys~

Sorry this picture isn't that nice. The plastic wrapping along the outside was reflecting the light so much, and I didn't want to take it off because I am not ready to use it yet... I have been wanting a redness corrector for a while, and this one from The Face Shop was really cheap. I was going to get the purple one, but I decided I have a lot of redness and plenty of brightening bases, so I should get the green one. If I like it, though, I may get the purple one too because it's so cheap!

Next are these Foodaholic Face Masks in Olive. I wanted to get some really cheap masks, and this was like $7 for 7 masks. I only need enough to last me until my Japan trip, and then I can get some REAAAAALLY cheap ones. I got olive because it is good for hydration. I sound like I have dry skin, and I have normal - dry skin, only really getting dry in winter. But, who can say no to hydration?

Next, I wanted to get a cleanser I could use in the shower to wash off my makeup when I got home from school or work really late and I couldn't be bothered to remove it properly. Of course, I will remove any excess after my shower, but to do it in the shower makes it so much quicker and easier. I'd been using a Biore one that my boyfriend got to remove his zinc and sunscreens, and it is just so quick and easy, so I wanted to get my own. I decided to get this Etude House Real Art Cleansing Oil. It was reasonably priced for the size of the bottle. I didn't do any research for this, so I am hoping it is okay, because I know there are a lot of brands who have their own cleansing oils. I guess if I'm not wowed, I can just buy a different brand next time!

It also comes with a pump, thank god haha. Don't know why they didn't just put the pump in and skip the lid...

You're probably wondering why I got the no-wash version as well.  Well, I don't really like using cleansing oils on my eyes to remove mascara, even though I know they are safe to. I just feel scared every time I use it on my eye area, and because I am scared I don't remove my mascara properly and it just ends up going all over my eyes and I have to remove it after my shower anyway. So I got this to remove my eye makeup before my shower. I'm currently using a Loreal one, which is much smaller than this and only $4 cheaper, so I am hoping that this is going to be better! The Loreal one takes everything off fine, but price wise I think this will be the winner. I know Korean cleansing products are pretty good, so I am hoping this one will be. I won't start using it until my Loreal one is finished, though!

Lastly, I got this  innisfree Green Tea Mineral Mist. I've heard good things about it, and you should know by now how much I love to hydrate my face. I thought it would be good for winter when my face is dry, and also for Summer when my face is melting off. It smells so good, too.

And that is it for this haul! Let me know if you have tried any of these things and liked them, or not liked them! And if you have any reccomendations for my next purchases, let me know! I am really getting into Korean skincare, so I'd love to hear what you guys think!

Thanks, see you next time~~
